Yas Gringaliunas

Narelle Fitzgerald

Meet Yas, the unstoppable Founder and force behind Circonomy (formerly known as World’s Biggest Garage Sale). Much like the Little Engine that Could, Yas embodies strength, determination, and a fierce passion for contributing to the greater good in anything she gets involved in.

Yas says yes to living life outside of her comfort zone, trying new things to challenge her mind and her body.

Positive, passionate, powerful, and purposeful—these words don’t even begin to describe the whirlwind of energy that is Yas. From indoors to outdoors, and even on the dance floors, Yas is where the action happens, and she’s not one to sit in the grandstand.

“Writer/director Jannah Dryden’s darkly funny short comes on a bit like an Aussie variation on Mike Judge’s classic comedy Office Space (with, perhaps, just a glimmer of Kafka), before taking a few amusingly strange turns. With an often foul-mouthed sense of humour, this features fine, sustained performances from Bailey Stevenson and Hayden Keable, as well as a particularly polished look and a sense of uneasiness that should more than remind the viewer of their own personal experiences in awful jobs. And how glad they are to be (hopefully) out of them.”
